I had the opportunity to chat with Sorum about his involvement with the Raven Drum Foundation, his early days in Hollywood, and a hilarious anecdote involving Charlie Sheen’s wine bill.
Recounting his youthful experiences, Sorum revealed that his first drink was beer, influenced by his wild father during the sixties. Aside from his rockstar lifestyle, Sorum is deeply involved with the Raven Drum Foundation, a therapeutic organization founded by Def Leppard’s Rick Allen and his wife Lauren Monroe. The foundation aims to support individuals through drumming circles as a form of therapy, providing a space for healing and emotional connection.
