Get It Now: Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s ‘Vultures 1’ Album Returns to Apple Music (UPDATED)

Apple Music users can now once again enjoy streaming Vultures 1, the latest project from the artist formerly known as Kanye West, as reported by Billboard. The distributor behind this release, FUGA, is currently working to have the album taken down.

Elias Leight first reported for Billboard that Vultures 1, the first part of a planned trilogy collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign, was released through FUGA. This company provides music distribution, physical distribution, rights management, and other services, highlighting its advanced distribution technology. However, FUGA had declined to release Vultures 1 last year, only to have it appear on streaming platforms this month.

Last year, FUGA had the opportunity to release Vultures 1 but opted not to do so. The company cited judgment in the ordinary course of business for this decision. However, a long-standing client of FUGA allegedly delivered the album through the platform’s automated process, violating a service agreement.

As a result of this violation, Vultures 1 was removed from Apple Music. YesJulz, a member of Kanye’s team, alluded to FUGA’s involvement in the removal in a tweet. Complex has reached out to FUGA representatives for further comment on the situation.

Overall, the release and subsequent removal of Vultures 1 have sparked intrigue and controversy among fans and industry insiders. The saga continues to unfold as the music community eagerly awaits further developments.
