Epic Collaboration Alert: Nicki Minaj Enlists Chris Brown, Travis Scott & Sexyy Red for ‘FTCU’ Remix!
Nicki Minaj is not just focused on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour; she has also managed to find time to work on a remix of one of her recent hits from the tour. The remix, titled “FTCU (Sleeze Mix),” was announced by Minaj on Thursday, April 18, on her Instagram account.
The release date for the remix is set for Friday, April 19, and Minaj shared the cover art for the single. The cover art features Minaj in one of her stage outfits, complete with a flowing pink wig and a bedazzled microphone. Instead of a literal stage, Minaj is seen kneeling on the title of the song “FTCU” with black speakers on either side of her. The remix features three guest artists: Chris Brown, Travis Scott, and Sexyy Red.
This collaboration with Chris Brown is just one of several that Minaj has had with him in the past. The duo has charted six Billboard Hot 100 entries together, including hits like “Love More” and “All Eyes On You.” As for Sexyy Red, they have collaborated once before on “Pound Town 2.” However, this remix marks the first time Minaj is working with Travis Scott, which is significant considering their history back in 2018.
“FTCU” was originally featured on Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The song quickly became a fan favorite, reaching No. 15 on the Hot 100 and spending 18 weeks on the chart. Currently, the track is sitting at No. 79 on the Hot 100 chart.
Minaj is currently on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, with dates scheduled through July 14 at Belgium’s Astrid Park. Fans can expect to hear the “FTCU (Sleeze Mix)” live during her performances.
