Experience the Epic Sound of Swedish Prog Rockers Nightingale with Newly Remastered and Reissued Classics!

Nightingale, the band put together by Opeth, Threshold, Therion producer, and multi-instrumentalist Dan Swanö, is set to have their back catalogue reissued through InsideOut Music. This includes their albums such as 2000’s ‘I’ and 2005’s collection ‘Nightfall Overture’.

Much of Nightingale’s catalogue has been out of print for a while, with some albums never previously available in certain formats. The new reissues will be enhanced with extra material, all re-mastered by Swanö himself.

‘Nightfall Overture’, a collection of re-recordings from Nightingale’s first four albums, will be reissued on June 21. This release originally came out in 2005 to celebrate the band’s tenth anniversary. ‘I’, the band’s third album from 2000, will be reissued on August 23 and will also be available on vinyl for the very first time.

Dan Swanö, who was also the singer with Swedish death metal band Edge Of Sanity, formed Nightingale in 1994 to explore more cleanly sung vocals and add a progressive rock sound to the band’s music.

Swanö expressed his excitement about the reissues, saying, “It’s hard to describe in words exactly how excited we all are about these re-issues for both Edge Of Sanity and Nightingale. It’s incredible that these albums are finally available again, with the attention to detail they always deserved.”

The reissues will be available in various formats, including different colored vinyl versions, deluxe editions, and with extra material to offer fans a comprehensive and enhanced listening experience.
