“Oil & Water” follows the release of “Burn The Witch” in February, a collaboration with Tommy Genesis and Alice Longyu-Gao. Lead vocalist Lyndsey Gunnulfsen shared the inspiration behind the new track, describing it as a reflection on the push and pull dynamic of love that doesn’t quite match up. She revealed that she wrote and recorded parts of the song while on tour with Poppy in the U.S., with the final touches added in different locations across the country.
