Unpeople’s Debut Album: A Game-Changer in the UK Metal Scene of 2024!
Since the end of the pandemic, British metal has been in its rudest health since the days when Iron Maiden and Def Leppard were dominating pub stages across the country. Formed in London by former Press To Meco members Jake Crawford and Luke Caley, Unpeople take their name from the marginalized and ignored members of society. Their debut EP showcases five explosive pop-metal tracks filled with raw emotion and powerful melodies. The opening track, “Waste,” sets a bold tone both musically and lyrically, with thunderous guitars and catchy refrains.
Despite the intensity of their sound, Unpeople’s songs are tightly structured and infused with melodic elements.
