Kanye West’s Fiery Remix Targets Drake & J. Cole – You Won’t Believe the Shots Fired!
Hey Music Nation 365 fans, we’ve got some hot gossip from the Hip Hop world for you today! Kanye West, the controversial and trendsetting artist, has just dropped a remix of the track that ignited the current Hip Hop wars. And guess what? He’s taking shots at none other than Drake and J. Cole!
On Saturday (April 20), a video surfaced of Ye premiering his remix of Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” posted by The Download With Justin Laboy. The track kicks off with West acknowledging Drake’s ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar, saying, “Yo Dot, I got you.” It seems to reference Lamar’s shots at Drake and Cole on the original “Like That,” which sparked all the drama in the first place.
The verse also seems to allude to the Diddy sexual assault allegations with the line: “Can’t stop, won’t stop, I just fucked your bitch in a Sean John tank top.” And of course, Ye doesn’t hold back when it comes to targeting Drizzy and Cole directly, rapping, “Y’all so out of sight, out of mind, I can’t even think of a Drake line. Play J. Cole, get the pussy dry.”
But that’s not all – the plot thickens! Ye’s verse emerged shortly after an AI-enhanced Drake diss track surfaced featuring the voices of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg. Drake, in his continuous feud with K.Dot, released a new joint called “Taylor Made Freestyle,” which openly embraces artificial intelligence. The track features the computer-generated voices of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg alongside Drake’s lyrics, challenging Kendrick Lamar to come up with a response.
In “Taylor Made Freestyle,” Drake references Taylor Swift’s new album and TDE boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, with lines like, “But now we gotta wait a fucking week ’cause Taylor Swift is your new Top. And if you ’bout to drop, she gotta approve. This girl really ’bout to make you act like you not in a feud.”
After Drake’s track went live, Akademiks shared during a livestream that he received a text from Drake himself, expressing frustration over the situation and saying, “N-ggas done fucked up my whole feng shui. Now I gotta eat until this debate is done.” And it seems that Kendrick Lamar is ready to fire back with a response believed to be as vicious as 2Pac’s legendary “Hit Em Up.”
So, Music Nation 365 fans, it looks like the Hip Hop wars are heating up with Kanye West and Drake at the center of it all. Stay tuned as the drama unfolds and these incredible artists continue to battle it out on the airwaves!
