Get ready to be moved by Wheel’s latest single ‘Disciple’!
Anglo Finnish prog metallers Wheel have recently released their latest single, the empowering track “Disciple”. The band’s upcoming third album, titled Charismatic Leaders, is set to be released through InsideOut Music on May 3.
“Disciple” delves into a heated debate between a current and former cult member, both convinced they are saving the other while refusing to acknowledge differing viewpoints. Frontman James Lascelles elaborates, “The discourse between these characters mirrors many current societal debates, prompting me to reflect on my own responses to opposing ideas.”
Having garnered attention with their previous single “Porcelain,” which was featured on Prog’s Tracks Of The Week, Wheel is gearing up for a series of significant performances. They are scheduled to play their first-ever shows in Australia as support for label-mates Caligula’s Horse, followed by their inaugural North American headline shows. Later in the year, the band will embark on an extensive tour across Europe.
Charismatic Leaders will be available in a limited CD digipak edition, including bonus tracks from the Rumination EP, as well as a gatefold 180g LP showcasing artwork by Lucas Mayer, known for his work with Long Distance Calling and Blackout Problems.
