Don’t Miss Out! Frank Turner is Bringing His Summer Headline Tour to Intimate Venues Near You!

British singer-songwriter Frank Turner has announced an exciting UK summer headline tour, set to take place between his performances at Glastonbury and Latitude festivals. This tour comes as Turner gears up to release his tenth studio album, “Undefeated,” the highly anticipated follow-up to his 2022 UK number one album, “FTHC.” The album is scheduled to drop on May 3 through Xtra Mile Recordings.

Speaking about the upcoming release, Turner expressed his thoughts on reaching the milestone of his tenth album, stating, “There are no clichés about the difficult 10th album, so in some ways, that’s a liberating statement.” He acknowledged the responsibility and challenge of justifying the creation and release of a tenth album, especially at the age of 42. Turner emphasized his interest in artists who explore themes of adulthood in their music, citing inspiration from the likes of Loudon Wainwright III and The Hold Steady.

General ticket sales will then commence on Friday, April 26, at 10am UK time.

In a bid to set a new world record, Turner plans to play the most gigs in different cities within 24 hours in May, following the album release. Elaborating on this ambitious endeavor, Turner shared, “From 12.30pm on Saturday, May 4th, through til 12.30pm on Sunday, May 5th, I will be playing as many shows as I can. We have 15 cities on deck. I’m proud to say that every show on the schedule is being organised by an independent record store. Two of them are in-store shows; all the rest are taking place in grassroots music venues, in association with my friends and allies at the Music Venue Trust. They will be solo shows, and each will last a minimum of 20 minutes. I will be drinking an insane amount of coffee.”
