In an interview with Complex, Hardy shared his excitement about the collaboration, revealing that he received a call from Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg personally, asking him to record his own version of “Gin and Juice” for the launch of their new beverage, also named Gin & Juice. Hardy expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and the approval of both Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg for his rendition of the beloved track.

Although the official music video for the cover is set to be released next month, fans can already enjoy the track that showcases the fusion of country and hip-hop elements.

The collaboration between Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Hardy is part of a promotional campaign for the upcoming release of a beverage named ‘Gin & Juice’. Earlier this year, the duo released a cinematic trailer for the product, featuring them in roles reminiscent of characters from Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction.

According to a tweet from Dre and Snoop’s shared Twitter account, the ‘Gin & Juice’ drink will be available in four flavors – Apricot, Citrus, Melon, and Passionfruit. The forthcoming release of the beverage has stirred much excitement among fans of the legendary duo.

Trademark filings for ‘Gin & Juice’ made last year by a company called Defiant Ones, LLC, hint at potential future collaborations and products from Dre and Snoop. The duo has been actively working on various ventures together, including an upcoming album titled ‘Missionary’.

In a recent interview on ‘All the Smoke with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’, Snoop Dogg provided insights into the creative process behind their new album. He shared that he is currently in the studio with Dr. Dre, putting the finishing touches on the project.
