Don’t Miss Out: Widespread Panic Set to Open for The Rolling Stones in Denver!
The Rolling Stones are hitting the road once again, and this time they are bringing along an incredible lineup of supporting artists for their Hackney Diamonds tour. The tour, which is in support of the band’s latest album, Hackney Diamonds, is set to kick off on April 28th in Houston and will feature artists like Widespread Panic, Tyler Childers, Lawrence, and more.
After the tour opener in Houston, the legendary band will head to New Orleans for their highly anticipated Jazz Fest performance. This performance comes after the band had to cancel their appearance at the festival back in 2019 due to Mick Jagger’s heart surgery. The Stones were originally replaced by Fleetwood Mac, who later had to cancel as well, leading Jazz Fest veterans Widespread Panic to step in and save the day.
Widespread Panic will also be joining The Rolling Stones as openers for their show at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High on June 20th. This announcement comes on the same day that Panic is scheduled to perform at Jazz Fest 2024.
But the lineup doesn’t stop there! Other artists set to open for The Rolling Stones on the Hackney Diamonds tour include Carin León, Electric Mud, Joe Bonamassa, The Red Clay Strays, Ghost Hounds, Bettye LaVette, Lainey Wilson, The War and Treaty, The Linda Lindas, and The Beaches. It’s shaping up to be an unforgettable tour with some amazing talents supporting the iconic band.
