Experience the Electrifying Performance of Morat’s Hit Pop/Rock Song ‘Faltas Tú’ at Latin AMAs 2024!
Colombian power quartet Morat stole the show at the Latin AMAs 2024 with their anthemic pop/rock sound, a rare sight in the Latin music awards scene. Performing their latest single, “Faltas Tu,” the group brought a refreshing energy to the stage, standing out among the dominating Mexican corridos and urban beats of the night.
Morat, comprised of childhood friends Juan Pablo Isaza, Juan Pablo Villamil, and brothers Simón and Martín Vargas, delivered a dynamic performance that harkened back to the arena rock of the ’90s. Their presence at the Latin AMAs reminded viewers of the diversity within Latin music, showcasing the range of genres that fall under the category of “Latin.”
Having recently wrapped up their U.S. tour, Morat will be embarking on a stadium tour starting June 21 in Madrid, promising their fans an electrifying live experience. The Latin AMAs 2024, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and broadcasted on Univision, saw hitmakers Feid and Peso Pluma leading the nominations with 12 nods each.
Colombian singer Feid and Mexican star Peso Pluma are contending for the prestigious Artist of the Year and Album of the Year awards, along with other top nominees such as Bad Bunny, Grupo Frontera, Karol G, Shakira, Eslabon Armado, and Fuerza Regida. The star-studded event was hosted by Thalia, Becky G, Alejandra Espinoza, and Carlos Ponce, who made history by presenting the awards ceremony in both English and Spanish, a first for a Latin music award show in the U.S.
