Get in the Game! 42 Dugg Faces Backlash for Fun Father-Son Basketball Pic
42 Dugg, the Detroit rapper known for his hit tracks and unique style, recently found himself at the center of a social media roast session after posting some wholesome photos with his kids. In one particular image, he appeared to be almost the same height as his young daughter, sparking a wave of hilarious comments from fans.
The photos, shared in a carousel post on Wednesday, showcased 42 Dugg engaging in activities like playing basketball with his daughter and riding a four-wheeler with his son. However, when the images were reposted by 2Cool2Bl0g, eagle-eyed viewers couldn’t help but notice the height similarity between the rapper and his daughter, leading to a flood of playful jokes in the comments section.
One user hilariously remarked, “Man, I thought this was 2 kids,” while another quipped, “He the same size as the kids.” Additional comments included, “Which one is #42dugg?” and “the damn car taller than him.” The light-hearted banter continued with remarks like, “There’s no way he’s driving the Cullinan without a booster seat ayoooo.”
Despite the playful teasing online, 42 Dugg has had his fair share of challenges, including a stint behind bars. After being released from prison in late 2023 following a year and a half, the rapper opened up about the difficulties he faced during his time incarcerated.
During an appearance on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game, 42 Dugg shared his experiences in lockup, recounting the hardships of his grueling kitchen job inside. He revealed, “Bruh, they had me in there working in the kitchen. They was being funny like… waking me up at four in the morning, bruh, like I’m talkin’ ’bout killing me, bruh.”
The rapper went on to explain how he tried to avoid the physical demands of his job due to previous injuries, resulting in being assigned the task of wrapping 1,000 forks. His friend Gillie Da Kid humorously dubbed him the “prison waiter” for his efforts.
Adding to his challenges, 42 Dugg claimed that despite his hard work, he never received payment during his time in detention. The rapper was sentenced to a year behind bars for failure to surrender charges related to a federal gun case in 2020, ultimately serving six months before regaining his freedom.
Since his release, 42 Dugg has been under a supervised release program for three years, accompanied by a $20,000 fine and the requirement to maintain a drug-free lifestyle. Despite the setbacks he has faced, the rapper continues to rise above adversity and pursue his passion for music.
