Auctioneer Harry Santa took to Instagram Stories to share a selfie with Swift, followed by videos of Kelce assisting him in auctioning off a surprise package of Eras Tour tickets that Swift generously donated for the foundation.
In one of the clips, Kelce slyly mentioned, “I was just talking to my significant other, and we might have one other auction item that wasn’t on the docket. Has anybody heard of The Eras Tour?” Santa initiated the bidding at $5,000, jokingly suggesting that the winning bidder could make a profit by reselling the tickets online for a higher value. Swift, seated next to Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, waved a red napkin in support as the bidding took place. Kelce, amused by the situation, couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
Santa later disclosed that the four-ticket package was sold for an impressive $80,000. 15 and The Mahomies Foundation, established by Mahomes in 2019, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children by supporting various charitable causes focused on health, wellness, and communities in need.
The release of Swift’s album ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ which includes a remarkable 31-song Anthology edition, has been setting new records in its debut week.
