Tyler, The Creator’s Exciting New Sneaker Collaboration with Converse – Get Yours Now!
Tyler, The Creator has once again teamed up with Converse to launch a new line of shoes as part of their ongoing partnership. This time, the California native’s Golf le Fleur brand has put a fresh spin on Converse’s classic Chuck 70 low-tops, creating four new designs that have already sold out.
Each pair features a unique pixel block print that resembles leopard spots and comes in four different colorways: green; pink and red; white and blue; and multicolored. Priced at $120 each, these shoes have been a hit with fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.
The design director at Converse, Matt Sleep, shared that Tyler is a fan of the Chuck 70 ox and had initially created multiple versions of the camo print for his personal use. After receiving positive feedback on a pink pair he wore publicly, Tyler decided to make four colorways available to consumers, allowing them to experience his unique style and creativity firsthand.
This collaboration is just the latest in a series of successful partnerships between Tyler, The Creator, and Converse. Their previous collaboration, which also sold out quickly, was hyped up by Tyler himself over the summer of 2023 with a captivating trailer directed by the multi-talented artist.
In the trailer, a disgruntled fisherman brings a sack of sneaker soles to a chef, who transforms them into the Golf Le Fleur x Converse GLF 2.0 finished product. The video received praise from fellow artists and fans alike, showcasing the innovative and creative vision behind Tyler’s designs.
The GLF 2.0’s were available in two colorways – “Oil Green and Bison” and “Curry and Copper Tan” – and featured a redesigned Converse logo license plate on the heel, adding a unique touch to these already eye-catching shoes.
