In a Youtube video published on April 29, Kennedy teased his Return To The Kingdom tour, expressing his excitement to get back on stage and play some rock ‘n’ roll. This tour follows his successful solo release in 2018, “The Year Of The Tiger,” and his more recent rock-inspired album, “The Ides Of March,” in 2021. These upcoming tour dates will mark Kennedy’s first full solo tour since summer 2022, during which he released Alter Bridge’s seventh studio album, “Pawns & Kings,” and toured with the US alt-metal act.
In early 2024, Kennedy also toured with Slash as part of the “Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators” project. Metal Hammer’s sister publication Classic Rock awarded the Wembley Arena show on this tour three stars out of five, praising the energetic performance but suggesting a need for a greater presence of rock ‘n’ roll spontaneity.
