Snoop Dogg Throws Support Behind Drake’s Savage Kendrick Lamar Diss Track!

Snoop Dogg has shown his support for Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle,” which utilized AI versions of both his and 2Pac’s voice. The Doggfather reposted the Kendrick Lamar diss track on his social media, captioning it “90s Hip Hop Forever.” Although Snoop didn’t provide additional commentary, fans speculated that this was a cosign of the controversial release.

This isn’t the first time Snoop Dogg has commented on “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Shortly after its release, the West Coast rap legend shared a bemused reaction to his computer-generated “feature” on social media. In a brief Instagram clip, Snoop questioned the authenticity of the AI usage, expressing confusion and amusement. While Snoop has embraced his AI appearance, 2Pac’s estate has voiced strong opposition to the unauthorized use of the late rapper’s voice in the track.

In a cease and desist letter sent to Drake, 2Pac’s estate expressed deep disappointment and dismay over the infringement on Tupac’s rights. The estate emphasized that the song violated Tupac’s publicity and legal rights and disrespected the legacy of one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time. The use of Tupac’s voice against Kendrick Lamar, a close friend of the estate, only exacerbated the offense.

2Pac’s brother Mopreme Shakur also criticized Drake for incorporating the late rapper’s voice in the diss track, deeming it unnecessary and disrespectful. Following the legal action from the estate, the song mysteriously disappeared from all of Drake’s social media accounts.
