Louisianna Musician Dwayne Dopsie Rocks Out with Rolling Stones at Festivals – Don’t Miss This Epic Collaboration!

The photo featured Dopsie alongside singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Ronnie Wood, backstage at the main stage at the Fair Grounds during the Rolling Stones’ soundcheck. What’s even more thrilling is Dopsie’s revelation that he had rehearsed with the band and would be part of Thursday’s show at the 2024 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

At 45 years old, Dwayne Dopsie is the youngest of the late zydeco legend Rockin’ Dopsie’s eight children. Born in Lafayette, he established his band, the Zydeco Hellraisers, at a mere 19 years of age. Based in New Orleans, Dopsie and his high-energy band have graced stages in over 40 countries worldwide.
The Zydeco Hellraisers’ most recent album, “Bon Ton,” was released via Louisiana Red Hot Records in 2019, garnering acclaim for their vibrant and infectious sound.
Notably, Dwayne Dopsie has been recognized in the music industry with two Grammy nominations in the Best Regional Roots Music Album category, solidifying his talent and artistry in the genre.
Joining Dopsie and the Rolling Stones at the 2024 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is New Orleans rhythm & blues icon, Irma Thomas. The esteemed singer confirmed her participation in the event, set to perform the classic tune “Time Is On My Side” alongside the legendary rock band.
