Introducing ZIO’s exciting new line-up with talented members from Carl Palmer and Franck Carducci bands

ZIO, the UK-based prog rockers, have unveiled their revamped lineup in anticipation of their upcoming live shows in August and September. The group, led by drummer Jimmy Pallagrosi, vocalist Hayley Griffiths, and guitarist Mark Gascia, will be joined by a stellar cast of musicians.

The newest additions to ZIO include Simon Fitzpatrick, the guitarist from Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy, Mary Reynaud from Franck Carducci’s band, and Ben Vize, the keyboardist from Nostalgic Orange. This dynamic combination promises to bring a fresh and exciting sound to ZIO’s performances.

Opening for ZIO will be The Bee Tellers, a prog/folk duo featuring former Mostly Autumn singer Heather Findlay and musician Simon Snaize. Findlay, who has previously collaborated with ZIO live, will also join the band on stage for a few songs, adding to the eclectic mix of talents on display.

Pallagrosi expressed his enthusiasm for the new lineup, stating, “ZIO is joined by two great and multi-talented instrumentalists. Ben Vize will bring his creativity and madness to the keyboards, while Simon Fitzpatrick will showcase his talent and virtuosity on bass. Our vocal lineup includes the exceptional Hayley Griffiths and the enchanting Mary Reynaud.”

In addition to the lineup changes, ZIO will be releasing a new live album titled ‘Elibomevil’ on August 24. Fans can catch the band live on the following dates:

  • Aug 28: London The Bedford
  • Aug 29: Leicester The Musician
  • Aug 30: St. Helens The Citadel
  • Sep 1: Southampton The 1865
