Camila Cabello is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated new album, C,XOXO. The pop star took to Instagram on Monday, May 6, to unveil the cover art of her fourth solo album, featuring a captivating close-up shot of the singer with her freshly dyed blonde hair, licking a blue lollipop, and gazing into the camera. This upcoming album will mark Camila Cabello’s follow-up to her successful April 2022 LP, Familia, which debuted at an impressive No. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart. The record featured hit singles such as “Don’t Go Yet” and the infectious collaboration “Bam Bam” with Ed Sheeran, reaching positions No. 42 and No. 21, respectively, on the Billboard Hot 100.

Aside from her solo endeavors, Camila Cabello also lent her vocal talents to the Trolls Band Together soundtrack, showcasing her role as Viva in the animated film. One of the standout tracks, “It Takes Two,” sees Cabello team up with Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake for a delightful musical collaboration.

Earlier this year, Camila Cabello kicked off her new album era with the Playboi Carti-assisted track, “I Luv It.” The song samples Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade” and features Cabello incorporating elements from Rihanna’s music into her own unique style.

In a statement about the inspiration behind “I Luv It,” Cabello shared, “Certain things in our human realm make me feel like I’m in outer space, and the very rare few times when I’ve had incredible chemistry with someone is one of them. Part of that cocktail is also the emotional drama between you and that person, and the chaos and butterflies and nerves and passion. It’s unsustainable and not peaceful, and exhausting, but also, I LUV IT.”
