Nita Strauss, former guitarist for Alice Cooper, tied the knot with her longtime partner Josh Villalta in a star-studded wedding ceremony on May 4 in Hollywood. The event was graced by the presence of renowned musicians like Alice Cooper himself, Demi Lovato, and Disturbed frontman David Draiman.
The reception was a musical extravaganza with a special performance by David Draiman and Disturbed bassist John Moyer covering Metallica’s iconic hit “Enter Sandman.” The attendees were treated to a rendition of Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” as well.
Not only known for her time with Alice Cooper from 2014 to 2022, Nita Strauss has also carved out a successful solo career since 2018. Her 2023 solo album, “The Call Of The Void,” featured guest appearances from stars like David Draiman, Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, Chris Motionless of Motionless In White, Marty Friedman, and more.
In addition to her solo endeavors, Nita Strauss has been accompanying Demi Lovato as her guitarist since 2022 and even collaborated on a rock version of Lovato’s single “La La Land” in 2023. The wedding celebration also highlighted David Draiman’s admiration for Metallica, expressing his admiration for the band’s music and the impact it had on his formative years.
