Sisters Of Mercy rock North America with epic extensive tour announcement
Get ready to immerse yourself in the dark and haunting sounds of the industrial goth overlords, the Sisters Of Mercy, as they have just announced a highly anticipated US tour. The legendary band from Leeds will embark on their tour starting at The Fillmore in Detroit, MI, on September 14, and will conclude their journey at History in Toronto, Canada, on October 26.
This tour marks a significant return to North America for the Sisters Of Mercy, following their last US shows during the Ocean To Ocean tour in 2008. The band’s lineup for this tour includes the iconic Andrew Eldritch, along with longtime guitarist/bassist Ben Christo, guitarist Kai, and the talented Chris Catalyst, who has previously worked with Ghost, Ugly Kid Joe, Ginger Wildheart, Terrorvision, and Eurleka Machines.
Adding to the excitement, the dark-pop project Blaqk Audio, formed by AFI members Davey Havok and Jade Puget, will be joining Sisters Of Mercy as the support act for the tour.

Despite not releasing an album for 34 years, Andrew Eldritch hinted at the possibility of new music in response to the political climate, particularly mentioning a potential album release if Donald Trump were to become President. In his own words, Eldritch expressed, “If Donald Trump actually does become President, that will be reason enough for me to release another album. I don’t think I could keep quiet if that happened.”
