The ceremony, held on May 1, was graced by MSNBC host and chief legal correspondent Ari Melber, who highlighted the importance of supporting young entrepreneurs from underprivileged backgrounds. In his acceptance speech, 50 Cent expressed his gratitude to all the teachers, mentors, and volunteers who have supported his organization, G-Unit.
50 Cent’s entrepreneurial endeavors have recently extended to Shreveport, Louisiana, where he opened his G-Unit Film & TV Studios. The city honored him by declaring a special day in his name and presenting him with a key to the city. The rapper shared his excitement about expanding film and television opportunities through his studios in Shreveport.
In 2023, 50 Cent received approval from the Shreveport City Council to lease the Millennium Movie Studio for his entertainment company. The lease, costing $2,400 annually for 30 years, showcases his commitment to investing in the city’s film industry.
