She highlighted the contrast between her positive experiences touring with other artists and the negativity she encountered while on Rod Wave’s tour. Despite acknowledging her role in some of the challenges she faced, Lennox emphasized the need for respect and protection for opening acts in the music industry.

The singer made a firm decision to never open for another artist again, urging headliners to prioritize the safety and well-being of their opening acts. Lennox emphasized the importance of ending the cycle of disrespect and violence towards Black women in the music industry, calling for a change in attitudes and behaviors towards performers.
