Attention West Valley Drivers: Prepare for Possible Delays Ahead!

The Rolling Stones are set to rock the stage at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, as part of their “Hackney Diamonds Tour.” This marks the third stop on their tour, with only 16 cities on their itinerary. The first two shows took place in Houston and New Orleans, and Glendale is now the next lucky city in line to experience the legendary British rock band live in action.

If you’re planning to attend the concert in Glendale, be prepared for heavier traffic than usual on westbound Interstate 10 and the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway near the venue. The Arizona Department of Transportation recommends getting an early start to avoid any traffic-related mishaps that could leave you “Shattered.” The stadium parking lots open at 4 p.m., gates open at 6 p.m., and the concert kicks off at 8 p.m.

Electric Mud and Carin León are set to open for the Rolling Stones, the “World’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band.” The band is no stranger to State Farm Stadium, as they are the first musical artists to have brought three tours to the home of the Arizona Cardinals. Their last appearance at the venue was during the “No Filter Tour” in 2019, with previous shows dating back to their “A Bigger Bang Tour” in 2006.

To commemorate the Rolling Stones’ return to Glendale, the city ceremonially renamed a portion of 95th Avenue as “Satisfaction Way.” This nod to the band’s iconic hit song “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” from 1965 showcases the excitement surrounding the upcoming show. Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers even declared May 7 as “Ruby Tuesday” in honor of the concert, with local merchants offering special items like “Pour Some Brown Sugar on Me Wings” and “Paint It Black” punch.

For those heading to the concert, arriving early is key to avoid long lines and ensure a smooth entry. Glendale is all set to host the Rolling Stones and their special guests, promising a night filled with classic hits and unforgettable memories.
