Step Inside Cardi B’s Exclusive 2024 Met Gala After Party with Revolve + Fwrd
Cardi B knows how to throw a party, and we have insider information on what it’s really like to celebrate with the rap icon.
After wowing everyone at the Met Gala with her stunning black ball gown, Cardi B hosted her own afterparty at Silencio downtown. The event was in collaboration with Revolve + Fwrd, led by creative director Kendall Jenner. Fwrd is an online luxury fashion destination under the Revolve Group.
Cardi’s Met Gala look perfectly fit the event’s “Garden of Time” theme. For the afterparty, she rocked a red, body-sculpting dress reminiscent of Jessica Rabbit. The venue was decorated with red lights and simple decals announcing her presence.
The night was filled with star-studded guests, including Leon Thomas III, Chris Appleton, Hennessy Carolina, Kamari Bonds, and power couple Offset and Cardi B.
Offset, fresh from his U.S. tour, opted for distressed denim for a more laid-back vibe. Hennessy Carolina stunned in a hooded black gown with a daring neckline.
The party featured an open bar and a array of hors d’oeuvres, from caviar-topped potato chips to crispy french fries. The DJs kept the energy high with sets focused on R&B and hip-hop hits, including Cardi B’s chart-toppers.
What’s interesting is that the DJ’s steered clear of the recent Kendrick Lamar and Drake diss tracks, opting instead for tracks like Master KG, A$AP Ferg, Bobby Shmurda, and Fivio Foreign.
Cardi B, ever the busy star, has released several singles as she gears up for her sophomore album launch. Her latest tracks include “Like What (Freestyle),” “Enough (Miami),” and “PunterÃa” with Shakira.
With Cardi B, you know that there’s no party like a Cardi B party!
