Exclusive: Shocking Video Clears Drake’s Name in Predator Allegations – Watch Now!
Drake has been at the center of controversy recently after being accused of being a pedophile in one of the diss tracks Kendrick Lamar launched his way over the weekend. Now, a piece of so-called evidence that supported K.Dot’s claim has been clarified by the woman involved.
A recording from one of Drake’s concerts in 2010 resurfaced amid the rap beef. In the clip, he brings a fan up on stage, dances with her, and then gets quite close to inquire about her age. Upon discovering that she was 17, he remarked, “17, why you look like that? You thick!”
The woman in question, Tia Owens, is now 31 years old. She took to her Instagram Story to address the situation and set the record straight. “Regarding the video that’s going around… I was 17 back then and I’m 31 now. This was a concert that my dad took me to back in high school. Drake’s entourage actually picked me out from the crowd of people…NOT DRAKE himself,” she explained. “It was nothing then and still nothing now. Now that I have cleared up these false narratives, I’m going back to study for my law school exams. Wish me luck.”
Drake refuted the allegations on “The Heart Part 6,” released late last week. In the track, he denies Kendrick’s accusations about him being a sex predator who targets underage girls and concealing a daughter from the public eye for over a decade.
“I never been with no one underage but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with/ Just for clarity, I feel disgusted, I’m too respected/ If I was intimate with young girls, I promise I’d have been arrested/ I’m way too famous,” he raps, before challenging Kendrick to provide evidence that supports his claims.
The Canadian superstar also took to Instagram to call out his rival, stating: “And we know you’re dropping 6 mins after so instead of posting my address you have a lot to address.”
Kendrick’s diss tracks “Not Like Us” and “Meet the Grahams” were released in response to Drake’s shots on “Family Matters.” The ongoing rap feud seems to intensify with each new release from both artists.
