Mark Ambor Takes the Hot 100 by Storm with Hit Single ‘Belong Together’!

Mark Ambor has achieved a significant milestone in his music career by securing his first entry on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart. This accomplishment comes as a result of his breakout viral hit titled “Belong Together,” which he independently released on Feb. 16 in collaboration with Hundred Days Records and Virgin Music Group. The song debuts at No. 87 on the Hot 100 chart dated May 11, garnering 7 million official streams in the U.S., marking a 15% increase, along with 1,000 downloads sold, reflecting a 14% rise during the tracking week of April 26 to May 2, as reported by Luminate.

Reflecting on this significant achievement, Ambor expressed his disbelief and gratitude, stating, “It’s so surreal to see a song I made alone in my basement resonate with the world in the way it has. I’ve always seen the Billboard Hot 100 as this almost unreachable thing, and to see my song now in it is just so fulfilling and unbelievable. I’m truly grateful for everyone who’s here and supportive of the things I make. This is just the beginning.”

Prior to its official release, Ambor had been teasing “Belong Together” on TikTok for several weeks. The song gained massive traction on the platform, with the original audio being featured in over 80,000 clips and a sped-up version being utilized in more than 400,000 videos. Ambor, with over 1 million followers on TikTok, has already started hinting at a new song called “Our Way” and an upcoming album, although release dates for both are yet to be announced. The success of “Belong Together” marked Ambor’s first-ever entry on the overall Billboard charts in April, when it made its debut on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. The track climbed to a peak position of No. 24 on the May 11 chart and showed an impressive 55-37 leap on the Billboard Global 200.

Having released his debut seven-track album, “Hello World,” in 2022, along with three singles in 2023, including the viral sensation “Good to Be” (featured in 150,000 TikTok clips), Ambor recently concluded a series of tour dates across Europe in April.
