Experience Threshold’s Classic Hits in Stunning Vinyl and CD Reissue!
UK prog rockers Threshold are gearing up to reissue their first two albums, 1993’s Wounded Land and 1994’s Psychedelicatessen, which have been newly remixed and remastered. Fans can expect these releases in both vinyl and CD formats on July 5 as part of an exciting reissues campaign by the band.
Threshold, originally formed in 1988 with a focus on performing metal covers, saw a significant evolution with the release of their debut album, Wounded Land. This album marked the introduction of singer Damian Wilson to the band, who fronted Threshold on three different occasions. Following the album’s release, Wilson decided to step back, leading the band to enlist Glynn Morgan for their subsequent album, Psychedelicatessen.
After Morgan’s tenure, Damian Wilson made a triumphant return to Threshold, before the late Andrew ‘Mac’ McDermott took the reins as the band’s frontman for nearly a decade. Morgan once again returned to the fold as the lead vocalist for the band’s 2017 release, Legends Of The Shires.
Excitingly, these classic albums will be available on limited edition transparent green vinyl and CD for both longtime fans and newcomers to enjoy. Additionally, fans can look forward to catching Threshold on their upcoming Threshold Through Time tour across Europe this October, with dates in Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, and more. Unfortunately, no UK tour dates have been announced as of yet.
