Alongside the 12 remaining contestants performing classics from previous Rock Hall inductees, the big reveal left fans buzzing with excitement.

Among the esteemed musicians set to join the ranks of rock royalty are the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige, iconic pop diva Cher, and the beloved Dave Matthews Band known for their roots rock jams. Joining them are the legendary stadium rockers Foreigner, guitar virtuoso Peter Frampton, funky R&B pioneers Kool & the Gang, metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, and alt hip-hop trailblazers A Tribe Called Quest.

But the star-studded list doesn’t end there. The Rock Hall ceremony, scheduled for Oct. 19 at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, will also honor three influential blues maestros in the musical influence category. The laid-back rock legend Jimmy Buffett, political firebrand proto-punk group MC5, elegant pop sensation Dionne Warwick, and Motown Sound icon Norman Whitfield are all set to be honored.

Not to be overlooked, Suzanne de Passe, a former Motown executive credited with bringing the iconic Jackson 5 to Berry Gordy and overseeing numerous music-related TV specials, will receive the prestigious Ahmet Ertegun Award at the ceremony.

For fans eager to catch the action, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2024 induction ceremony will broadcast live on Disney+ on Oct. 19, followed by availability on Hulu the next day.
