Experience the Thrill of Slash Performing Guns N’ Roses Deep Cut Live with His Solo Band for the First Time!

Welcome to Music Nation 365, where we bring you the latest and most exciting news from the world of music! In a recent performance at Budapest’s MVM Dome, legendary guitarist Slash thrilled fans by dusting off a Guns N’ Roses deep cut, “Perfect Crime,” with his solo band. The crowd was in for a real treat as bassist Todd Kerns took on lead vocals, perfectly channeling Axl Rose’s iconic howl with ease.

But that’s not all – Slash has been reviving several GN’R deep cuts during his current tour with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Tracks like “Don’t Damn Me” and “Bad Apples” from the ‘Use Your Illusion’ albums have also made a comeback, with Kerns impressively taking on vocal duties for these songs as well. Interestingly, Guns N’ Roses themselves haven’t performed “Perfect Crime” since the night of the infamous Montreal riot back in 1992 during their tour with Metallica.

As we look ahead, Slash is gearing up for the end of The River Is Rising tour in support of his 2022 solo album “4”. The tour is set to conclude on April 29, and shortly after, he will be releasing a blues covers album titled “Orgy of the Damned”. This album will feature a star-studded lineup of guest vocalists including Chris Robinson, Billy Gibbons, Iggy Pop, Paul Rodgers, and more. To give fans a taste of what’s to come, Slash has already released two singles – a cover of Howlin’ Wolf’s “Killing Floor” featuring Brian Johnson on vocals and Steven Tyler on harmonica, and a rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well” with Chris Stapleton on vocals.

After the release of “Orgy of the Damned”, Slash will hit the road once again in July for the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. festival. The festival, which stands for “Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Equality N’ Tolerance”, will feature different lineups on various dates, with support from Warren Haynes, Samantha Fish, Eric Gales, ZZ Ward, Larkin Poe, Jackie Venson, and more on select dates.

Get ready to rock out with Slash, Myles Kennedy, and the Conspirators as they deliver an electrifying performance of “Perfect Crime”.
