Metro Boomin Dominates Charts with Back-to-Back No. 1 Albums on Billboard 200 – Celebrate the Success!

Metro Boomin has proven once again just how trustworthy his music is to his fans. Both his and Future’s albums, We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, have recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Metro took to Instagram to express his gratitude, posting still shots of himself with Future and The Weeknd from the “We Still Don’t Trust You” music video. The title track of the album made waves by debuting at No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with 13 other tracks entering the all-genre songs tally.

We Don’t Trust You first debuted at the top of the all-genre albums tally three weeks ago, earning 251,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending March 28. On the other hand, We Still Don’t Trust You has now claimed the top spot, earning 127,500 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending April 18. These albums mark Metro’s fourth and fifth No. 1 albums and Future’s ninth and tenth No. 1 albums.

The short three-week gap between both chart-topping sets is the shortest gap between new No. 1s by an artist since Future replaced himself at No. 1 in 2017 with his self-titled album and HNDRXX in successive weeks. Future’s achievement also ties him with music legends Elvis Presley and Eminem for the fifth-most No. 1 albums, placing him in fourth place among rappers after Jay-Z, Drake, and Kanye West.

Metro’s success has been met with overwhelming support from his fans and the music industry alike. It’s clear that his unique sound and collaborations with Future and The Weeknd have struck a chord with listeners, propelling him to the top of the charts once again. As he celebrates this incredible milestone, fans can’t wait to see what Metro Boomin has in store for them next.
