Drake Sparks Intense Feud with Prominent Rappers – Find Out Who’s On His Hit List!
It seems like the legendary producer Metro Boomin may be involved in a Rap Civil War with none other than Drake himself. The feud began when Metro decided not to include Drake on his track “Trance” from the critically acclaimed album Heroes and Villains released in 2022.
In an interview with DJ Drama’s Streetz Is Watchin Radio, Metro explained that the song was already complete and didn’t require an additional verse, despite Drake’s desire to feature on it. Metro said, “He really wanted to get on it, but I was letting him know that it was really just done for real. I was really just set on how it was.”
Despite this initial setback, Metro later collaborated with Drake and 21 Savage on the track “More Ms.” from their album Her Loss as a co-producer alongside DAVID x ELI. However, things took a turn when Metro expressed his frustration on social media, implying that award shows were overlooking his work in favor of Her Loss.
Drake responded subtly during a live stream, addressing “the tweet-and-deleters” and “non-believers” which some interpreted as a jab at Metro. This led to a series of exchanges between the two on Instagram and Twitter, with Metro taking shots at Drake and Drake ultimately calling him out in his lyrics on the track “Push Ups”.
In the song, Drake raps, “Metro, shut your ho ass up and make some drums, n–a,” indicating the tension between the two artists. Drake also used clips from the movie Drumline on social media to emphasize his point about Metro focusing on his production skills.
So, will this Rap Civil War between Metro Boomin and Drake escalate further, or will they eventually bury the hatchet and collaborate once again? Only time will tell as fans eagerly await to see how this feud unfolds in the music industry.
