Join Post Malone as he Dominates Taylor Swift’s Epic #FortnightChallenge!
Post Malone has recently joined the #FortnightChallenge and the excitement is palpable! The music sensation shared a captivating montage on YouTube Shorts, showcasing his life on tour, interactions with fans, on-stage performances, and post-show shenanigans. All set to the backdrop of his hit track “Fortnight” from Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department.
Prior to this, Taylor Swift herself initiated the #FortnightChallenge with a video giving fans a glimpse into her creative process. The video featured Swift in the studio, striking poses for promotional photos, and cherishing the entire album-making journey.
The dynamic duo launched the music video for “Fortnight” on a fateful Friday, and it was nothing short of mesmerizing! The video highlighted Post Malone’s tattoos on Taylor’s face, creating an illusion of her wiping them away only to reveal a face covered in ink. Flashback scenes depicted both artists in their tattoo-free days, with Swift joyfully embracing a clean-faced Malone.
Swift took to her social media platforms post the video release to express her admiration for the final product and the remarkable collaborators who contributed to its success. In a heartfelt post, she shared, “When I conceptualized the Fortnight music video, I aimed to portray the vivid worlds that I envisioned while creating the music. Every element in the video is either a metaphor or a nod to different aspects of the album. To me, this video perfectly encapsulates the essence of the record and the stories within it. Post Malone’s portrayal as our tormented tragic hero left me in awe, and I am immensely grateful for his dedication to this collaboration. Working with the incredible Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles was an absolute joy, and their presence elevated the video tremendously. I am still in disbelief that I had the chance to collaborate with the immensely talented Rodrigo Prieto on cinematography, and my dream team consisting of Ethan Tobman, Chancler Haynes, Anthony Dimino, Jil Hardin, and Dom Thomas brought this vision to life seamlessly. Parliament’s VFX work was exceptional, and Joseph Cassell, Lorrie Turk, and Jemma Muradian added life to the tortured looks portrayed. The entire crew made this experience a dream shoot. My heartfelt thanks to everyone involved and to all the viewers!”
