In a recent interview with Billboard News, Keityn opened up about his creative process, revealing that not every song he writes turns into a chart-topping hit. “Out of 10 songs I make, one becomes a hit,” he shared. “There are many more songs that never see the light of day. You have to put in the work, and out of that hard work, two or three songs may become huge hits.”
Despite the challenges he faces in the music industry, Keityn has managed to churn out hit after hit in the last couple of months. His collaboration with Karol G on the song “Me Curo Del Cora” was inspired by the idea that if tomorrow will be beautiful, then today must be difficult. This sentiment led to the creation of a powerful and emotionally resonant track that has resonated with fans around the world.
“TQG,” another one of Keityn’s recent successes, was written in collaboration with Karol G while she was in Los Angeles filming the Netflix series Griselda. Karol G’s decision to send the song to Shakira proved to be a stroke of genius, as the track quickly became a fan favorite.
However, it’s Keityn’s work on Shakira’s “Acróstico” that holds a special place in his heart. The song, which delves into personal and intimate themes, allowed Keityn to showcase his talent and creativity while paying tribute to an iconic artist like Shakira.
