Yungblud Rocks Out with Electric Cover of Kiss Classic!
Pop-punk rebel Yungblud has recently dropped a cover of Kiss’s iconic 1979 hit, “I Was Made For Lovin’ You.” Featured on the soundtrack of the upcoming action-comedy film, “The Fall Guy,” starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, this rendition showcases Yungblud’s unique take on the rock anthem. Blending elements of a piano ballad, pop-rock epic, and singalong anthem, the track offers a fresh twist on the classic.
The full soundtrack for “The Fall Guy” is set to be released on May 3, adding to the excitement surrounding Yungblud’s cover. Notably, Kiss’s original version of the song was recently included in the blockbuster film, “Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire,” further solidifying its enduring popularity.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Yungblud also made headlines with the announcement of his very own festival, Bludfest. Scheduled to take place at Milton Keynes Bowl on August 11, the event promises an eclectic lineup featuring Lil Yachty, The Damned, Soft Play, and more. In a statement shared on social media, Yungblud expressed his vision for the festival as a space where unity, individuality, and love are celebrated, echoing the inclusive ethos of his fan community.
The Fall Guy, the film for which Yungblud’s cover is featured, follows the story of a stuntman, portrayed by Gosling, who becomes entangled in a dangerous criminal conspiracy. Directed by David Leitch, a former stunt performer himself, the movie pays homage to the 1980s TV series of the same name.
