Visit Rio officials estimate that the event could attract two million fans. The show, sponsored by ItaĂş Bank, will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, with live broadcast coverage on TV Globo for those unable to attend.
Mexico City was a significant stop on Madonna’s tour, where she performed a series of five concerts at the Palacio De Los Deportes. During one of the shows, Madonna expressed her love for Mexican culture and Frida Kahlo, recounting her childhood discovery of the iconic painter’s work.
