Kanye West found himself at the center of a joke during Netflix’s comedy series “The Greatest Roast of All Time,” where NFL legend Tom Brady took a playful swipe at his parenting skills and ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The star-studded special, which aired on Sunday, featured Kardashian as one of the roasters who made jokes about Brady, including rumors of a past relationship with him.
When it was Brady’s turn to take the stage, he humorously thanked Kim for attending the event, jokingly mentioning that she might have been nervous not because of the roast but because her kids were at home with their dad. The audience reacted enthusiastically to Brady’s jest, with Kim responding by smiling and shaking her head at the lighthearted jab.
The event was attended by former teammates of Brady, including Julian Edelman, Randy Moss, and Rob Gronkowski, as well as former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. Comedians and actors like Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell, Ben Affleck, and Jeff Ross were also present to roast the celebrities.
Despite being a good sport throughout the night, Brady appeared to be slightly irked by a joke made by Ross about Patriots owner Robert Kraft. In the jest, Ross made a reference to Kraft’s previous legal issues involving solicitation of prostitution at a massage parlor in Florida.
Brady, seemingly uncomfortable with the joke, approached Ross and discreetly warned him not to make similar comments in the future. The joke sparked a tense moment but eventually fizzled out as Ross acknowledged Brady’s discomfort with the subject.
While Kim Kardashian was able to handle the roast with grace and a smile, Kanye West has yet to address the jabs made at him during the comedy special. It remains to be seen whether West will respond to the criticism aimed at his parenting by Tom Brady.
