Gunna has officially dropped his highly anticipated fifth studio album, “One of Wun,” on Friday through YSL Records and 300 Entertainment. This 20-track project features exciting collaborations with big names in the industry such as Offset on the track “Prada Dem,” Normani on “$$$,” Leon Bridges on “Clear My Rain,” and Roddy Ricch on “Let It Breathe.” Gunna’s previously released single, “Prada Dem,” made its mark by climbing to No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 20 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
In addition to these incredible collaborations, Gunna also released “WhatsApp (Wassam)” as a single prior to the album drop. Notably, Gunna collaborated with Normani on her single “1:59” from her upcoming debut album, Dopamine, which debuted at No. 2 on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart this week.
“One of Wun” comes a year following Gunna’s previous studio album, “A Gift & a Curse,” which climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and secured the top spot on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. This album marked his return to the music scene after his release from jail and included the hit single “fukumean,” which dominated the charts.
The album artwork for “One of Wun,” designed by Calvin Clausell Jr., maintains the floral theme seen in his previous album artwork. The cover features Gunna’s face covered by a sheer white scarf adorned with blue and white flower petals.
Currently, Gunna is headlining the “Bittersweet Tour” with special guest Flo Milli, which started on May 4th in Columbus, Ohio. The tour is set to conclude on June 11th with a hometown show at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
